Chemical Safety Report (CSR)

The CSR documents identified uses, exposure scenarios, and risk management measures, as well as the assessment of DNEL/PNEC and risk characterisation. It forms the basis for safety data sheets and regulatory audits, and must be kept up to date.

Operationally, companies should ensure consistent alignment between substance identity, CLP classification, exposure assessment, and SDS, while maintaining clear, traceable version control. Updates must be implemented as soon as new data becomes available or uses change.
